Our commitment to usable, inclusive financial software.
1. Our commitment
MizuAlign aims to be usable by finance teams with diverse abilities. We design marketing pages and core product workflows - including navigation, forms, dashboards, receipts, approvals, and settings - with accessibility in mind from the start, not as an afterthought.
2. Conformance status
Target standard: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Current status: Partially conformant. Primary navigation, marketing pages, authentication, and many core forms meet our internal checklist, but some advanced visualizations and dense data tables are still being improved. We do not publish a VPAT or claim full WCAG conformance until an independent audit confirms it.
3. What we support today
- Keyboard access to primary navigation, modals, and most form controls
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements in marketing and app shells
- Semantic HTML headings, labels, and landmarks on major pages
- Text alternatives for essential icons where they convey unique meaning
- Responsive layouts for common mobile and tablet breakpoints
- Theme and contrast tokens designed for light and dark modes
- Reduced-motion friendly transitions where the browser exposes a preference
- Cookie consent and theme controls reachable without a pointing device
4. Known limitations
We are actively working on gaps including:
- Data visualizations: Sankey diagrams, multi-series charts, and dense ledger grids may not yet expose equivalent text summaries for every data point
- Complex tables: very wide reports may require horizontal scrolling; sticky headers and screen-reader summaries are rolling out incrementally
- Third-party embeds: payment or bank-link flows inherit accessibility from their providers
- PDF exports: tagged PDF structure varies by report type
When a feature is materially inaccessible to you, contact us - we will prioritize a workaround or timeline when feasible.
5. Testing and quality practices
Our engineering process includes:
- Automated lint rules for common React accessibility issues in changed files
- Manual keyboard walkthroughs before major marketing and onboarding releases
- Color contrast checks against design tokens in light and dark themes
- Issue triage labels for accessibility regressions reported by customers
We plan periodic third-party audits as the product surface stabilizes; results will be reflected in updates to this statement.
6. Compatible technologies
MizuAlign is a modern web application tested on recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend keeping your browser and assistive technology updated. Legacy browsers may not support all features.
