Flex Buckets

Monarch-style flex budgeting rolls category limits into three buckets. Move money between flexible categories while fixed costs stay locked, and switch back to category view anytime without losing data.

How it works

  • Switch to Flex mode on the Budgets page - your existing category limits stay intact.
  • Categories roll up into Fixed, Flexible, and Non-monthly buckets automatically.
  • Drag or adjust allocations within a bucket when priorities shift mid-month.
  • Toggle back to Category view for line-item detail - same underlying budget rows.
